The Ark of Juneau, which sur
vived a number of le.e-al ag well

from racoma to Jur.eau under
the guidance of Paul Satko, his
wife and eight children a year
ago, drifted onto rocks near here
yesterday and a large hols was
punctured in the s'ern.
The Satko family, living In
the boat while a cabin is made
on their ground five miles In
land, were reported taken off
the Ark safely but their personal
effects were much witersoaked.
Satko and his oldest son were
deer hunting at the time of the
accident caused by a broken
tow line which allowed the boat
to drift onto th rocks where
it was left stem up with the
bow under water.

Ark of Tacoma when Satko and
family were living In ths Puget
sound city while preparing the
