Twin Fall Club
Negro Worlds Champions Face Craters at 8:30 Tonight
The reason why Antelope Al
Lightner, recently released by
Salem, didn't show up here after
signing with the Craters: he has
caught on with Twin Falls of the
Pioneer league, and, incidental
ly, has vhaled two home runs
after being unable to do much
of anything with the lumber at
Salem . . . our own Al (Wray)
Lightner, Antelope's brother,
also has shaken that plate slump.

St. already, the Craters have
beaten Yreka, loop leaders, four
times, and Redding, In third

and Dunsmuir walloped the
locals . . . thus far this season
the Craters have won 14 games
and lost seven, which Is travel

isn't bad . . .
The annual Old Timers' Home

and Oregon's and Washington's
"ancient" ball nlavera. hnth nf
the bush and professional league
variety, will gather at that time
to make merry and try to regain
their past zip in a couple of ball
