take over nine additional camps.

TAKEN BY DEATH
Lloyd William Anderson, 40,
a resident of southern Oregon
for the past 30 years, and eldest
son of Mr. and Mrs. John An
derson, former residents of Cen
tral Point, now living in Med
ford, passed away at a local hos
pital at 9 p. m. Monday after
a short illness. Mr. Anderson
was born at Valley Springs, S.
D., May 25, 1901. He moved to
Oregon with his parents when
ten years old. He was a barber
by profession and had been em
ployed at Denmans Barber shop
for the past four years. Mr. An
derson leaves a host of friends
to mourn his passing.
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Arlene Anderson, and son,
Lloyd Edward Anderson, his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John An
derson, three sisters, Mrs. Ella
Ovcrbeck and Mrs. Ida Rosen
berger and Miss Edith Ander
son, four brothers, Elmer Theo
dore Anderson and Ragnor An
derson, all of Medford, and
John Richard Anderson, Hood
River, Ore., and Victor Ander
son, San Diego, Calif.
Funeral services will be con
ducted from Perl funeral home
Thursday at 2 p. m. Rev. D. E.
Millard officiating. Interment
will take place in Siskiyou
Memorial Park.

nesses, including a ballistic ex

where the case has attracted
considerable interest.
