Dr. J. S. Johnson, 37, former
Medford dentist, died this morn
ing in the Good Samaritan hos
pital. Portland, of plural pneu
monia. Dr. Johnson, who practiced
dentistry here until illness in
capacitated him at the begin
ning of last winter, had entered
the employ of a dentist in Port
land after being discharged from
a hospital the first of this week.
He was stricken with an acute
pain in his side Tuesday and
entered the Good Samaritan hos
pital yesterday.
Dr. Johnson was born In Great
Falls, Mont. He was the son of
