C. M. Litwiller. president of
the chamber, lauded the move1
and urged co-operation on, the
part of the merchants in assur
ing its success. He added that
if the businessmen get behind
the action it will result in a no
ticeable decrease in the number
of solicitors and promoters who
attempt to "high-pressure" busi
ness men.
The directors also recommend
that G. M. Green, chairman o(
the highway committee, consult
with officials towards endorse
ment of the Tiller-Trail road
project. Funds for this highway,
are provided through the for
estry department, it was stated.
It is expected that Green and;
other chamber members will bcl
present at the coming meeting .
