Britain's refusal to lift the
blockade against France w:i;
termed "an act of hostility" to
night in a speech by Foreign
Minister Paul Bsudotn.
This, the foreign minister de
clared in answer to Prime Min
ister Churchill's Tuesday ad
dress, is "perhaps even nore
painful than the Mcrs-El-KiMr
attack.
He referred to assault of the
British fleet on French warships
at France's North African base
early in July, as a result of
which the Petain government
broke off diplomatic relations
with England.
"The French goven. rient will
not bow before this decision."
the foreign minister said.
"It must do everything In its
