THE GRANGE
Central Point Grange '
The regular meeting ot Cen
tral Point Grange waa held Fri
day evening with a splendid at
tendance. Twenty-two members
of Bellview Grange were pres
ent and presented a very enjoy
able program. There were also
eleven other visitors represent
ing Jacksonville, Eagle Point,
Roxy Ann Granges, and Fair
mount Grange of near Albany.
Visiting masters were H. G. Car
ter, Roscoe Roberto, and Del
Holmes of Falrmount.
The women were ahead In the
attendance count. There are on
ly two meetings left in this
quarter so It looks as if the men
will soon have to make plana
for entertaining the winners of
the contest.
Members are reminded that
the Grange la still In the new
sales slip contest so everyone ta
urged to keep their sales slips
and turn them In to the Grange.
This la by quarters so must be
turned In at close of each quar
ter. This quarter closes Sept. SO.
It wag voted to try to organ
ize a Juvenile Grange. Sister
L'Rena Slack, the state Juvenile
matron will meet with us Wed
nesday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. in th
hall. All Grange children be
tween ages of S and 13, inclus
ive, and their parents are urged
to be present at that time and
learn about juvenile Grange
work.

Mrs. Charity Sander on Wed.
Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.

the horseshoe contest sponsored
by Pomona Grange to be held
