Sams Valley met August 7, called
to order by Betty Loa Treaham.
Mr. Francis led In 4-H club
songs. The club pledge was 14
by Marguerite Reed. Minutes of
the last meeting were read by
Better Borland, secretary. Betty
Lou Tresham reported on hex
trip to 4H summer school. Mr.
Francis also gave talk on sum
mer school, as well as advice
about how to get ready for the
4H fair.
Alice Lyman reported on car
of sheep and how to get them
ready for fair.
Edna Reed reported on car
of pigs and how to get them
ready for fair.
August 27 was picked as the
day for Mr. Francis to bring
the trailer scales to weigh our
livestock. We also are planning
on making this 4H tour day. .

numbers by children of the
Grange and was greatly enjoy
ed. It was decided to have a
picnlo for Grange members and
