bers here held a picnic In the
city park a week ago and
served a large crowd with re
freshments after several men
gave Interesting speeches based
on labor situations. Mr. Fenton,
who organized the I.W.A here.
was present and his speech was
interesting and enjoyed by the
majority of the people.
The I.E.U. and Its members
had a picnic In the city park
August 6. exactly like the one
sponsored by the I.W.A. a week
ago except for its speeches.
Three speakers were present at
the I.E.U. picnic. Main speaker
was Mr. Card, organizer for
I.E.U., whose speech consisted
of condemnation of the I.W.A.
