of Cornelius B. Collins, son of
Mrs. Grace C. Collins of Med-

the couple. The church was
beautiful in decorations of white
The bride was lovely in a
white marquisette gown over
white satin. The long sleeves
with lace insets, puffed at the
shoulders, came to a point over
the wrist. The princess style
dress, with Its high neckline of
lace, had a sliort train. The full
skirt with wide insets of lace.
was Joined to the bodice with a
girdle of white satin. Her finder-
tip veil was caught in a modified
Mary Stuart cap, also fashioned

.bunch of orunge blossoms. The 1
Driae carriea a snower bouquet
of white rosebuds, lilies of the
valley and stcphantois.
' The bride's only attendant
was her sister, Gertrude Arm
itrong. She chose a gown of pink
'marquisette over tuffeta, made
. in the same style as the bride s,
with short puffed sleeves. She
wore elbow length gloves of
pink lace and a halo of pink
marquisette trimmed with blue
flowers. She carried a spray of
blue delphinium, pink gladioli,
and bavardia with pastel rib
bons. John Collins, brother of the !
groom acted as best man. Ushers
were Richard Slectcr and
Charles Reum.
The parents and the wedding
party received guests at the re
ception before tho fireplace in
the Boyle home. White gladioli
and white tapers decorated the
rooms.
The bride's mother, chose fur
her daughter's wedding, a shirt
maker dinner dress of turquoise
blue crepe. The dress had a full

elbow length gloves were of
matching shades. She wore a
corsage of Talisman roses.
Mrs. Grace C. Collins, mother
of the groom wore a dinner
dress of heavenly blue crepe
with a soft draped neckline and
an accordion pleated skirt. Her
tiat of matching blue was trim
med with white flowers and blue
net. She wore a corsage of white
gardenias.
Alternating at the bride's
table with its white, silver and
crystal appointments were Mrs
dames Allen Smith. Rollin P.
Rodolph, Donald Chase and Miss
Virginia West.
Assisting about the rooms
were the Misses Virginia Lind
ley, Patricia Thompson. Jeanette
McKee, Catherine Kurd and Pa
tricia Hayes. The wedding cake
with its ornate white icing and
pink rosebuds was served by
Mrs. Abe Garr.
When the couple departed by
plane for Detroit, Mich., the
bride was wearing a turquoise
blue silk suit with wine trim
mings. She curried a beige coat
with a collar of matching fox
fur and wore a corsage of white
rosebuds and stephanutis.

Sojourners Club
Has Recent Picnic
A gay affair of the past week
was the picnic given by the
Medford Sojourners club at the
Jackson Hot Springs Thursday
evening. Husbands and friends
were invited and 120 gathered
at the long tables for the seven
o'clock picnic dinner.
Entertainment Included com
munity singing, led by Mrs. Les
ter Nielsen, games and swim
ming. Much hilarity attended a
biilliing beauty contest for men
only. Clrond prize was awarded
to "Petunia" Frit., while conso
lation prizes wont to "Hortense"
lloppe. "Hetty" Welch, "Ruth"
Hottjer, "Nellie" Nail and "Win
nie" Walbert.

Mrs. C. W. Lemery.
A delightfully informal and
pleasing effect was achieved by
placing the piano on the ver
anda and seating the 15ft guests
on the terrace. Notwithstand
ing threats of rain earlier In
the day, the evening proved
warm, reminding many of the
glorious Hollywood Bowl con
certs of California.
Mr. Abramowitsch received
musical education in the foreign
capitals of the world, beginning
his studies at the ace of six.
He has been in this country
i only three years, but is already

"'" known on the coast as a
concert pianist and coach. His
playing is characterized by me-
ticulous attention to artistic de-1
tail and since he has complete
mastery to his instrument, he ;
possesses the power to inter-
pret the classic and modern

Babb Family Has
First Reunion
In Many Years
The first reunion of th A. C.
Babb family in many year was
held here this month from the
20th to the 26th. The family
includes six girls and five boy,
all of whom are over SO year
of age.
Several dinners were given
in honor of the participants,
the largest, a picnic dinner, tak
ing place July 23 in Ashland
Lithia park.
Now included in the family
are 30 children, 37 grandchil
dren and nine great-grandchildren.

Medford, Mrs. Nancy Hannan
of Silverton, Ore., W. H. Babb
