42, of Klamath Falls, and Don
ald A. Bcntley, 30, of Fort
Klamath were brought from
Klamath Falls to the county
jail here last night by Paul
Hanlin, deputy U. S. marshal.
Johnson was charged with reil
ing liquor to Indians, Bentley
with the larceny of government
property. It was alleged that
Bentley used stock from the
Klamath Indian reservation.
Each defendant was held under
$2300 bail by U. S. Commis
sioner Bert C. Thomas in
Klamath Falls.

nue this forenoon. A boy set
the grass on fire and then ran
away, Edward Canoose, assist
