The story revolves around
Susan,, who has neglected her
own family responsibilities in
her enthusiasm for converting
her friends to the new social
movement. Gradually she an
tagonizes all her intimates and
finds herself faced by a divorce
which she does not want and
losing the new-found love of
her child. She is forced to fall
back on the faith which she so
blithely discussed without un
derstanding it, to pull her
through. Hilarious comedy
combines with highly dramatic
situations to provide one of the
season s outstanding pieces of
entertainment.

Youth Enroll In CCC
Three Jackson and five Jose
phine county youths were en
rolled in the civilian conserva
tion corps here Friday. All
were assigned to Camp South
Umpqua Falls.
This was the first enrollment
of the current period. Another
enrollment will take place on
July 12. Meantime any youth
desirous of enrolling with the
CCC should register immedi
ately with the Jackson county
public welfare commission at
city hall, headquarters stated.

in Ashland next month will be
resumed again this afternoon
in the civic Elizabethan theater

The three girls suffered minor
bruises, and after being treated
at Roseburg hospital were,
released.
Following the accident the
Pearsons telephoned to Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Scripter of 60 Rose
avenue and the Scripters drove
to the scene and broucht the
injured persons back to Medford
and the hospital.
FINAL RITES FOR
Funeral services for the lata
Spencer Childers, aged 90, Who
passed away at a local hospital
on July 6, will be conducted
from the chapel of the Perl
funeral home on Monday after
noon at 2 o'clock. Concluding
services will be conducted at
Hillcrest crematorium. Grants
Pass. Ore., and his ashes will
be scattered over the Rogue
River valley, which he loved
so much.
Pallbearers will be A. C. Hub
bard, George Porter, Leon Has
kins, John Wilkinson, Ralph
Stephenson, and Hob Deuel.
