The hesitancy that marked
the preceding session continued
and transfers of around 200,
000 shares for the two hours
were among the smallest in
about a year. A few favorites
got up point or so, but frac
tional declines and losses were
widely spread at the close. '

some of the gloom resulting'
from the French collapse and
hope appeared to have revived
on indications the British may
have taken over a major por
tion of the loser's fleet,

GERMAN VESSELS
London, June 22. (P) Two
German vessels were sunk by
British planes in a raid yester
day on WUlemsoord, a German
occupied harbor in Holland, the
air ministry announced today.
The communique said:
"Aircraft of the fleet air arm
and coastal command aircraft
of the royal air force yesterday
attacked enemy shipping, docks,
naval storehouses, and an oil
depot at WUlemsoord, a Ger
man-occupied harbor In Hol
land. Two enemy vessels were
sunk. One enemy fighter was
destroyed. One of our aircraft
was shot down."
The air ministry said that In
"less than a minute," five tons
of bombs were dropped, the two
ships were sunk, another badly
damaged, an oil storage depot
was set on fire, and naval store
houses were "blown to rubble.
