"Till We Meet Again," co
starring Merle Oberon and
. George Brent, opens today at
the Craterian theatre. Featured
in the stellar case are Pat
O'Brien, Geraldine Fitzgerald,
Binnle Barnes and Frank Mc
Hugh. The story begins In Hong
Kong. At the Bar of All Na
tions, Dan and Joan, (the roles
played by Brent and Miss
Oberon), meet over a cocktail.
It is a hail and farewell meet
ing, for she is sailing back to
San Francisco immediately.
They part, and Dan runs
straight into the waiting hands
of Steve Burke (Pat O Brien),
a detective who has trailed him
all over the world since Dan,
sentenced to death for murder,
had escaped on his way to San
Ouentin. So Ban ana joan
meet aeain on the boat, but
the doesn't know he's a pris-
' oner, for Burke allows him the
freedom the ship. He, on his
part, doesn't know that she has
a heart ailment which may cut
off her life at any moment.

Barton MacLane, plays as the
companion feature with "Star
Dust."

All the color and glamor of
America's most fabulous era
will be brought to the screen
of the Craterian theatre Wed
nesday in the production "Lil
lian Russell," featuring Alice
Faye, Don Ameche. Henry
Fonda, Edward Arnold and a
huge supporting cast. The life
and loves of the famous Amer
ican stage beauty are depicted
in the film. Alice Faye sings
several of Lillian Russell's fa
mous songs," including "After
the Ball Is Over," "My Eve
ning Star" and others, while
Don Ameche Introduces two
songs that were written es
pecially for the picture. These
are "Adored One" and "Blue
Love Bird." Also featured in
the cast are Warren William
and Leo Carrillo.
On Wednesday night, at 9:00
o'clock, the Craterian will pre-

theat?rs will go on the summer
evening schedules, effective to
day. Show times will be 15
minutes later, with doors open
ing at 7 o'clock instead of 6:43.
Matinee times will remain the
same with doors opening at
1:45.

Construction of a $700,000 ply
wood plant will be started here
immediately by the Olympia
Veneer company, President
Morris Sekstrom announced to
day through the chamber of
commerce.
The plant will replace the
$800,000 unit that was destroy
ed by fire at Aberdeen. Wash.,
March 1. It will employ 300
men, Sekstrom said. The com
pany has other plants at Willa
mina. Ore., and Olympia. Wash.
