Strike of Pacific Greyhound
bus drivers belonging to the
Brotherhood of Railroad Train
men went quietly into its fifth
day here today.
Busses continued to operate
almost normally.
The Brotherhood drivers as
sert the strike is to obtain rec
ognition of the brotherhood as
bargaining agent in accordance
with a ruling of the national
labor relations board. The com
pany contends the board's rul
ing Is before a federal court
and that it is under contract
to a union of drivers affiliated
with the American Federation
of Labor. The strike, the com
pany argues, is a Jurisdictional
dispute. The strikers deny this.
