Dance at Large
Ball December 30
One of the most prominent
social activities of the holiday
season will be the Elks annual
charity ball to be held in their
temple Saturday night, Decem
ber 30th.
Due to the fact that New
Year's eve is on Sunday, the
committee has decided to hold
their dance Saturday night, and
in lieu ef the midnight frolic,
special entertainment is being
presented, according to Secre
tary Ernest L. Scott.
Archie Legg's orchestra will
provide the music and the atten
dance, will be confined to Elks
and guests admitted only on
invitation cards which may be
secured from the secretary.
Several cocktail parties are
being arranged in advance of
the dance and it is the belief
of the committee that an unusu
