Mrs. Prank Smith's little grandson
was taken to the Sacred Heart hos
pital last Monday. The child almost
had pneumonia. All of Mrs. Smith's
friends and neighbors wish him a
speedy recovery.

Talent, Nov, 1. (Spl.) The
second annual masquerade
dance given by the Talent fire
men was well attended. Many
of the costumes were unlqua
and artistic. Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Hill of the Dead Indian district
won the prize for the best cos
tume. They were dressed as nine
trees. Noise makers and confetti
were given the dancers when
the masks were removed. The
hall was artistically decorated
by Lyle Tame and Dale Dob
bins. Music was furnished by
the Mountain Meadow Hillbil
