Council to create further bonded

Live Oak Grangt.
Grange held open house for
lecture hour before Grange meet
ing. October 16. Mrs. Lathrop
gave a very educational and
interesting review of her trip
to England. Mrs. Mack and
Mr. Lathrop also attended the
meeting. After lecture hour,
regular meeting was held with
Mr. Howes of Gold Hill Grang
and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall of
Phoenix Grange also present.
It was decided to put on first
and second degrees Monday
evening. October 23, at our new
quarters, the Girl Scout hall.
At next H.E.C. meeting all wom
en are to bring favorite rcctpei
and household hints to be used
in Grange cook-book being com
piled by the state H.E.C.

An exceptionally enjoyable
meeting was held at Lake Creek
Grange hall, October 13, with
Mrs. A. T. Lathrop as guest
speaker and a large and appre
ciative audience in attendance.
Mrs. Lathrop gave an Intense
ly interesting and enlightening
talk on her trip to England as
a delegate to the world confer
ence of country women.
A rising vote of thanks and
hearty cheer were extended Mrs.
Lathrop for her splendid enter
tainment. A large number of
visitors from Eagle Point,
Brownsboro and Lake Creek
were present.

who remained for the business
session were Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
