A modern football scoreboard,
about 10 by all feet In dimension
and boasting An electric clock to be
operated by the official timekeeper,
ha been donated to Med ford senior
high school by Pluhrer's bakery
through W. H. (Heinle) Fluhrer, it
waa announced this afternoon by
Leonard Mayfleld, principal. The
score board ha been ordered from
the east and will be In use at the
stadium for the Bend game on Octo
ber 37.
The board will be well lighted
and easily aeen from any plar In
the stadium. On it face will be
space for th quarterly acoree of
both team and the quarter In which
the teams are playing. Slxteen-lnch
numerals will be used. The electri
cal ly-con trolled clock will have a
five-foot dial and will be placed on
top of the board.
An all -elec trio basketball son re
board ha also been presented the
school by Fluhrer'a bakery. Mr. May
field said. This board will Include
a minute and second hand and will
be operated entirely by electricity.
It will be available for all basketball
games.

ago when Leater Blgham of Med
ford, who operate a county road
grader, unearthed an Indian grav
near the Amos McKee ranch. Beads
of pink, white and blue, a veil a
spoons and skull were exhtimed.
The skull contained teeth In a good
state of preservation.
Mr. Bltrham was sloping a aandy
bank with a hand pick when he
made the discovery. School children
obtained most of the relic.
