ard spent the week-end in Alturas,

Howard P.-T.A. was well attended
last Friday with a splendid enter
tainment planned by program chair
man Mra. Frank Newton. Mrs. Doris
Oerber was elected secretary upon
resignation of Addle Brown. Mrs.
Brown has moved Into the Lone Pine
district. Refreshments were served by
the social committee, Mrs. McKlbben
and Mrs. Palen.
Loo Johnson entertained Fred
Stammcn, Wllmer Robertson, Dale
Brugger and Ocorge Thomas at his
home Friday with a welner roast.

called to Eugene Sunday on account
of the serious Illness of Mrs. Craw
ford's mother.

Mrs. J. E. Crawford, left Monday for
Eugene with friends. He will at teed
