Antelope cooking club meeting De
cember 3 at the home of Bob Walch
had small attendnnce. Barbara Cul-
bertson and Ted Yorton were absent
because of Illness.
Following the business meeting, re
freshments were prepared and served
by Bryan Yorton.
Members present were Patty von
der Hellen, Alice Day, Bryan Yorton
and Bob Watch'. Visitors were Betty
Walch and Mrs. Luther Day.
Next meeting will be December 17
at Mrs. Walch's. Mrs. Walch asks
that all members bo present as the
outline of work for the year will be

of the American Legion voted to pre
sent a trophy to the outstanding Boy
Scout or troop in southern Oregon,
at a meeting held here Tuesday
night.
Ben W. Coutant, and Nlel R. Allen,
Grants Pass. George Codding, Med
ford, and Elwood Hussey, Kerby,
were appointed to select the trophy.
Closer cooperation between the Le
gion posts and Boy Scout work was
recommended.
The 40 et 8 project of organising
a blood corps, to be composed of
blood donors whose blood has been
typed, waa endorsed by the ' past
commanders. The club found only
two past commandeta not members
of the 40 et 8.
Medford was named as the host
city for the next meeting when elec
tion qf officers will take place
