and drive them back home. Mrs.
Burns Is staying with Mrs. Hammell
during the men folks' absence.
Mrs. Mary Gibson has been en
Joying a visit from her daughters,
Rachel and Ruth, and their families,
all from Salem. They visited their
brother Wend all Fields. Mrs. Gib
son will accompany them back to
their Salem homes for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Hill and daughter,
Marnell, of Portland avenue, Med
ford, were guests November 27 of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Graw. They en
Joyed a fine chicken dinner and all
the trimmings.

Valley and Talent basketball teams
had a practice game Friday night In
the Talent gym. The game was won
by Talent, the score 38 to to. Rich
ard Skeetera and Harry Maxon were
the star players tor Talent.
Charles and Oladys Donaldson of
Los Angeles, Calif., returned home
after visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
Floyd Young and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Naugle return
ed home from Ohio, where they have
been vlaltlng the past two months.
Mr, and Mrs. Oraene of Butte
Falls have moved Into Mrs. Jacobs
house on First and Bane streets.
The high school student body gave
a banquet for the football squad
at the school Thursday night. After
the banquet, the entire student body
held a party In the gym.

their regular monthly pot luck sup
per and entertainment at the city
hall Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs.
Ray Burnett were In charge of the
program, which was well presented.
Over 100 people attended.
The Talent rural route, which was
taken to Ashland, has been restored
and the route goes out of Talent,
