Is a step-son of Tony McClelland,
an old-time resident of this vicinity
and fireman on the old P. and S.
train, who now resides In Long
Beach. Mr. Tabor also visited his
grandmother In Medford and uncles,
the Brit t son brothers, who used to
live on the old Charles Velght place
on Rogue river, west of Eagle Point,
but who now live In the Williams
Creek vicinity.

the Sacred Heart hospital. She took

rushed to the hospital. It It hoped

that she will soon be able to return

A short business meeting was call
ed to order on the regular meeting
night. November 30. The rest of the
evening was open to the community.
A party and shower was given in
honor of the newly-weds, Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Byrne. Lecturer, Mrs.
Bertha Raskins, had charge of the
entertainment. Toasts were given by
the lecturer. She also asked for
roll call In which each person was
to give the bride and groom some
good advice. Bongs, readings and ft
skit were also enjoyed. Mrs. Let
Port lead the group In games. Re
freshment followed the program.

old Cullen. Sacramento butcher, cried
for help today when two of his fingers
were caught In sausage grinder. A
would-be . rescuer pushed a button
which started the machine and
caught two more of Cullen's fingers.
Cullen and the grinder were taken
to a hospital when doctors had to
take the machine apart before am
putating the remnants of. the four
fingers.
