date for a bazaar to be given by the
school Improvement club of the Ap
plegate school. The district also 1
cooperating with a school dance, both
event to be given the samtt night
at the community hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl McMullen of
Olendale. Ore., spent the week end
here as guests of the latter' sister,
Mrs. Fred strauble.
Gary Ronald waa chosen as the
nam ot the new son arriving at the
home ot Mr. and Mrs. Fred West this
month.
Mr. and Mrs. Morrl Byrne, newly
weds, were greeted by a large group
of friends la a charivari Sunday
evening. More than thirty people
gathered for a merry social evening
with the young couple at their new
home, following the conventional
pounding of pans and tubs.

camp crew. Little Applegate spike
camp haa a crew working on ft new
telephone Una through Water gulch,
which will connect with the forest
service line on Beaver creek. With
completion of this 11ns the spike
camp will discontinue us ot the
Little Applegata farmers' line.
Applegate extension unit will hold
a special meeting Wednesday, Nov.
30tb, when Mr. Mabel Mack, home
demonstration agent, will give the
first project on "Doe Diet Make ft
Difference?" The project will be given
in the afternoon, with tha business
meeting scheduled for th morning.
Luncheon arrangement are In charge
of Mr. E. J. Brown, chairman of the
refreshment committee. Everyone In
