The Universities of California and
Southern California are surviving
contenders for the bid to represent
the Pacific coast in the big New
Year's day game at Pasadena.

day aimed a verbal blast at Referee John Oetcbell of Minneapolis for a
decision which set up 7-0 victory for Notre Dame against Kern's team
