Mrs. A. A. Hall went to Eugene, Ore.,
last Saturday to visit a, daughter and
after a while he will go on to Salem
to visit another -daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Hilary Todd, who
lived here some time ago and lately
lived in Washington, have bought the
Clarence Moore place and are repair
ing it and getting ready for winter.
They say Rogue River looks good
enough for them.
Mrs. 3. B. Llnsbaugh of Cottage
Grove Is visiting her daughter, Mrs.
Homer Chamberlain, for the winter.
Mr. Claud Turner and wife, for
merly of Bismarck. TT. TX, ts expected
here soon. They went back there
some time ago to straighten some
business affairs. They have bought
a home here.
Shady Cove school has had the
misfortune to have the chicken pox
tn the school. Quite a few of the
pupils have been sick and had to
stay at home.
The ladles of the Shady Cove Com
munity club met at the home of
Mrs. John Leaden last Thursday.
October 8, 33 being present. A nice
dinner was served. Plana for the nrw
clubhouse was discussed and all en
joyed nice time.
John Walker went to Klamath
Fails Monday to work.
Mr. and Mrs. Metlon, who went to
Elks Creek to work: some time ago,
have moved back down here and are
living in a new house near Mrs.
Betha Able.
There "will be ft meeting Monday
evening, October 17, at the Shady
Cove schooihouse -to elect officers
and attend to other business con
cerning the community clubhouse.
