Return North - Karl L. Janouch,

attend the annual convention of the
Shasta-Cascade Wonderland associa
tion In Ashland. Mr. and Mrs.
Janouch came south and returned
north by motorcar with E. C. Man
ning, chief forester of British Co
lumbia, who also attended the Shasta
convention.

Crowds Hear Movie
Auditions Tuesday
On Rial to' s Stage
Before an almost capacity house
last night at the Rlalto, auditions
were made of approximately twenty
persona who appeared before the re
cording microphone as If they were
veterans.
In presenting the stage attraction,
D. W. Balrd went Into lengthy de
tail regarding the equipment which
was used in making the auditions
after which he intioduced and com
plimented the quintet who were
present from the M. H. S. A vocal
number was recorded of this group,
and . was Immediately played back to
the audience. Don Elliott proved a
very popular soloist by the rendi
tion of a banjo solo with variations.
Dick Baize and Jeanne Marie Patter
son were selected for parts in the
filming of Medford'a movie, "Run
nln Wild." Ruth Meadows. Jack
Parker and Rodney Wheelock were
also selected for certain scenes to
be Included in the Medford movie.
Scheduled for recording this after
noon and evening are Aileen Latham,

will begin work tomorrow on the
filming of the local attraction. To
morrow the entire afternoon will be
spent In filming lobby display of
"still" pictures, of varioua scenes of
the story. These pictures will be on
display in front of the Rlalto be
ginning Thursday. The actual shoot
ing of the local picture "Runnln'
Wild" will start promptly at 8 o'clock
Friday morning, as the entire cast
goes on "location" to one of the
finer homes of the city for the
filming- of certain sequences which
will be .used in making up the play.
The plot will be described In a
later Issue of this paper.

afternoon. Indications are that the
pet parade, which will start at the
Chamber of Commerce building will
attract many visitors to Medford
for "movie day." Chief of police
McCredle has kindly offered the co
operation of the department to han
dle the parade of kiddles as they
march through a section of the busi
ness district.
