Surviving are hla widow, two daugh
ters and a son.
Mrs. V. 3. Patterson, resident hero
for more than SO years, died this
morning at the age of 83 years. Sur
viving are two daughters.

morning. He was a native of Qeorgla
and la survived by his widow and

player today filed a 18,000 damage
action against BUI (Bojengles) Rob
inson, famed negro dancer.
Moffatt repeated hla charge that
after a minor traffic accident last
week, Robinson struck him over the
head with a revolver Inflicting four
wounds, Robinson contended Moffatt
pinned him down and was pummel
lng him when he struck tn self-defense.
