At the last meeting of Busy Dozen
Clothing I and II club the members
presented their leader, Myrtlo Char
ley, with a fine pair of pinking
shears. Mothers of the members
served Ice cream and cake. Visitors
were Mesdames Walters, Wright. True
blood, Stanley, Zundel and Damon.
The club exhibited their work at the
county 4-H fair. The girls all com
pleted and exhibited their work 100
per cent and attended the fair both
daya.

first prlje. Joanne Damon second.
Janet Zundel third. Dorothy Stanley
fourth. Lillian Damon fifth and Kath
erlne Welch sixth.

from Victoria, British Columbia, who
visited Dutchman's Peak lookout re
cently. Mr, Colley waa muoh Inter
ested In the method of forest protec
tion and In the CCO work, and made
many lnqulrlea regarding these pro
jects. Ho came to southern Oregon
to visit hla son, Bernard B. Colley of
the U. S. geological survey, who Is
working In the Applegate region at
present.

Korea, who Is a missionary. She la
