Exhibits Cotton Plants Six cot
ton plants grown In a bucket were
placed on exhibit today at the Jack
son County Chamber of Commerce
by B. H. Craig of the Midway road
In the Central Point district. Mr.
Craig said he planted the cotton
from seeds last May. Some of the
plants are now In bloom. Object of

by motors and steels, the stock mar
ket nut on a slow-motion rallv today
that pushed up feeders fractions to
3 points before profit selling cut
gains by a third or more at the
close.
The list exhibited little appetite
for a forward tilt at the start, but
bidders stepped up on the second
hour and selected issues were given
a brief run to their best levels of
the day. The pace quickened a trifle
on the advance, but soon slowed to
a crawl and transfers approximated
only 650.000 shares.
