Noodles, Cheese and Ham
8 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
a oups milk
Vt teaspoon salt
, teaspoon paprika
14 teaspoon oelsry salt
Vg teaspoon minced parsley
14 teaspoon minced onions
1 cup cooked noodles
Vt cup grated cheese
14 cup diced, cooked ham
Melt the butter. Add the flour and,
when blended, add the milk. Cook
slowly for five minutes, stirring con
stantly. Add the rest of the Ingred
ients. Cook slowly for another five
minutes. Serve poured over cracker,
toast or buttered asparagua.
Fruit Sherbet
1 oup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
tt cup peaches
ft cup berrlea
cup orange Juice
2 tablespoons lemon Juice
3 egg whites, beaten
V4 teaspoon salt
Boll the water and augar together
for two minutes. Cool. Add milk,
frulta and Julcea. Pour Into a eter
nized freeze and turn crank until
the aherbot la Half-frozen. Fold In
the rest of the Ingredients and
freeze until stiff.
Press the peaches and berries
through a aleve before adding them
to the half-frozen mixture.

3 egg yolks
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla .
I cup pastry flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
H teaspoon salt
Vt oup toasted pocans
3 egg whltos, beaten
Beat the yolks. Add the sugar and
mix until creamy. Fold In the rest
of the Ingredients and mix lightly.
Pour Into a ahallow pan which has
been lined with waxed paper and
bake for 38 minutes In a moderately
slow ovsn. Cut Into bars and dip Into
granulated sugar.
