Upper Appiegate Orange
Orange met June 11 with very
good attendance. Lecture hour was
spent practicing the dedication cere
mony. We wish to Invite all O rangers
and their friends to Join us In the
dedication Saturday, June 18 at

Next Orange meeting. June 36, will
be postponed, due to the dedication.

ASHLAND, June 14. (Spl) First
or a aeries of summer concerts In
Llthto, park will be given Thursday
evening by the Ashland city band,
under direction of Ward V. Croft.
They will be weekly affairs to be
held on each Thursday for the en
suing 10 weeks. Concerts are to start
t 8:00 p. m. and will be about an
hour In length.
Tbe summer musical events are
going Into their eleventh successful
summer season, having proved very
popular with Ashlanders each year
they are presented. Besides local ap
predators, people are drawn by the
concerts from points all over the
Rogue valley.
Director Croft assured better con
certs this year, owing to the band
levy recently voted.
