these United States, and residents
of Jackson county, Oregon, realising
that conditions In the Orient have
reached a stage beyond human en
durance, and that we, individually
and our beloved country collectively,
are guilty of:
Aiding and abetting murderers
respectfully petition you to place an
embargo upon shipments of arms
and ammunition, aa well aa any
and all material entering Into the
manufacture thereof. Including also
every ounce of gasoline or lubricat
ing oil used In propelling bombing
planea and tanka, shipped from any
port of the U. 8. or our dependenclea

empire of Japan or any territory

five cents a bushel today in one of
the aharpest upturns the market has

represents the new crop wheat now
coming to market, soared the five
