CLUBS

Oak Grove 4-H Bewlng III and XV
are working hard getting their dresses
ready for exhibit at the 4-H fair to
be held at the end of August. They
spent two days lost week cutting and
fitting. Each day a covered dish
luncheon was enjoyed.
Livestock club Is busy caring for
their pigs and chickens. Bobby Bar
ber is busy with his four-months-old
chickens which through hts good care
have all lived and made good prog
ress. We expect Bobby to win a rib
bon for his good work.

Creek Orange.

Over Decoration Day week-end.
Tom Burnfiel had close call, or
rather, his car did. He had stretched
a tarp from hla ear top over his
small camp fire, which he thought
he had ektlngulsed before he left
for fishing. During his absence, a
breeze sprang up, fanning his sup
posedly dead fire into a flame which
caught hla tarp, carrying tt to his
car, whose exterior waa consider
ably damaged.
Freddie Butcher left Friday for
Cascade Locks where he will visit
with his aunt and uncle.
