setback today when Attorney-General
I. H. VanWInkle ruled that the 30,.
000 appropriated by the 1037 legisla
ture for the New York fair cannot
be spent on the state's exhibit at the
San Francisco fair.
Both fairs will be held next year.
Oregon withdrew a month ago from
the New York fair when the state'
exhibit site was given to France, fair
officials offering another site to Ore
