Onager health control thrmigh the
application of more adequate meth
ods of home cleansing Is one of the
most needed sanitary measures today,
according to health authorities
throught the nation. This fact Is
backed by numerous scientific Inves
tigations. It la estimated that approximately
3,000,000 people s .day surfer from
colds and other respiratory diseases.
This number might be greatly reduae
if mora modern methods of disinfect
ed household, cleansing were generally
practiced.
Teats made with towels, table, bed
and personal cottons and Unons show
that Millions of dangerous germs can
live on as little as one square Inch of
surface, Indicating the need for reg
ular use of a safe and efficient dis
infectant. Similar experiments In the horns
show that vast numbers of germs srs
commonly found In dish water snd
on dish clotha. They are easily trans
mitted to dishes and drinking glasses,
and thus disease la often spread. Re
frigerators, dralnboards, sinks, gar
bage receptacles; toilet bowls, wash
basins, bathtubs also harbor germs.
Harmful bacteria are a constant
menace to health. For greater horns
health control scientists particularly
urge disinfected cleansing of house
hold "danger sones" In laundry,
kitchen and bathroom. Outstanding
among those disinfectants favored by
housewives snd scientists alike Is Clo
rox, a pure safe and dependable
bleach snd household disinfectant
that la extremely easy to use. It If
simply added to the routine laund
ering or cleansing process according
to directions.
Millions of housewives have already
placed their homes to a higher plane
of cleanliness and safety through dis
infected cleansing. Health authori
ties urge every housewife to do the
same in order to aid In cutting dowa
the dally toll of sickness.
