member helping to find the Ingredl
ents. Miss Swsnson' gave the 8th
Commandment to begin the Mothers'
Day part of the program.
Thelma Martin read the origin of
Mothere' Day and a "letter from me
to you" was read by Mrs. Pearl Mar
tin. Mrs. Foote- gave a talk on
mothers ox the Bible. LaDonna Seog
mlller, Mrs. Sweet and -Mrs. Ellis gave
readings. Refreshments were served
by tne hostess, Mrs. Ruby Nelson.
Next meeting will be a no-hostess
outdoor picnic, the place to be de
cided later.
The forestry club left Saturday for
an overnight camping trip on Morri
son creek, with a program sent out
to them by H. 0. Obye, Medford. The
trip finishes up the work for this
year. Those on the trip were Emma
Frlnk. Ruth Weams, Cecil Martin,
