Hellcn. May 7, by a group of 4-H
olub members.
There were 35 olub members pres
ent, 11 from Lake Creek, S from Eagle
Point, 13 from Antelope and fl from
the aheep olub of Lost Creek.

Fern Valley 4-H livestock club held
the last meeting at the Fern Valley
school, May 13.
Our leader, Mr. Lewis, conducted
the meeting. Members chosen to go
to Corvallla summer school were Ruth
Williams, age 13; Ernest Lytic, 13,
and Donald Lewis, 14. All have had
the required two years of club work.
The money for the scholarships was
raised by the club by ft danoe, pie
social and box social, with ft remain
ing amount to be used towards our
part on the 4-H club scales.
Leonard Ferns was presented with
ft last year's scholarship, given through
the courtesy of Copco. He also has
had two years of club work.
A new member was enrolled, Dale
Job, with a project of sheep. This
brings enrollment up to IS members,
about B0 percent of Fern Valley's
grade school pupils now enrolled In
club work, visitors at this meeting
were Mrs. Beery, Mrs. Lewis, Mr. LttJs
and our county club agent, Mr. Con
rad, and Mrs. Conrad.
