erend Dandy painted the beautiful
scene back of the Baptistry of the
Jordan river In the Church of the
Kaaarene.
An organ recital will be presented
by Mrs. Lllla M. Purucker at 9 :00
p. m.
The other services of the day will
be embellished by a rich seasoning
of musical numbers, among whom
will be that of the Parks-Hawkins
quartette.

trainer. He was on his way to Pear

Hufner, city editor of the Shanghai
Evening Post, plunged to his death
early today from the sixth floor of
the navy Y. M. C. A., leaving a self
written obituary for his paper.
Burner's death came less than 24
hours after that of his 23 -year-old
flencce. Violet Echtl Thompson, who
died yesterday after a dental opera
tion.
In his obituary, Hufner said he de
sired to be "with the one girl he ever :
loved" and requested their bodies be
burled together. -
