ner was one of the seventy-five pu

Faber in Holly Springs, Iowa. After
finishing In tho public school. Mr.
Gardner began teaching, at the ago
of 19 years, continuing for three
years. Mr. Gardner Is one ot about
thirty frlenda of the Fabers from
Iowa who now reside in Portland.
