adoption by Griffin Creek OranRe.
After boarding at the farms of dif
ferent members, the pig will go the
way of all pigs and become the basts
of a large community dinner.
"Kidnaping Betty." one-act com
edy, will be presented Saturday at
the hall at 8 p. m. The play will be
open to the public and will be fol
lowed by a recreational nour ana
refreshments. A small admission
charge will be made.
Directed by John Darby, the action
of the play centera around Betty
Fielding, a beautiful, willful, school
teacher, and Dan Meadows, a hand
some, stubborn young farmer, and
their romance.
The part of Betty la playod by Mrs.
Jane McCarty, while Dan Is portray
ed by Rufus Fann.
Joanna Fielding and Bud Simpson

Forrest's father, J. H. Blodgett. tea
titles to his son's versatility, "For
