returned to Klamath Falls. They
have been spending most of the win

Mrs. Jeff Rtchey drove to Medford
Wednesday to have several teeth ex
tracted. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Manning were
dinner guests Saturday of Mr. and
Mrs. Ludo Grieve.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hakkentp at
tended Easter services at Jacksonville
and were dinner guesta of Rev. and

Charles Manning and Bruce Grieve
each caught a nice basket of trout In
Big Butte on the opening day of the
season. Because of the Inclement
weather very few fishermen were out

had borrowed 61,083,000 from
Thomas W. Lamont In order to help
his brother Richard Whitney, restore
securities and cash which the latter
had misappropriated.
Testifying as the securities com
mission examination on the failure
of the stock exchange firm of Rich
ard Whitney and company, on March
6, Oeorga Whitney said bs had gone
to Lamont, also a Morgan partner.
