name on stencilled sets, have gone to
Jail or paid fines, as the result of a

attorney's office." according to an
article In the November Issue of Ra
dio Today, a national radio magazine.
"But there are other rackets beset
ting the radio buyers of New York
and similar metropolitan centers. Ex
amples are the flagarant counterfeit
ing of popular models, and the mis
leading advertising of "14-tube" and
"11-tube" sets In which half the so
called "tubes" are inoperative In a
radio sense," the magazine stated.
Radio Today continued "when this
'14-tube' receiver claimed as list
ing for about the price of an average
