coast to New Westminster, B. C, and
then back to Portland. "They will
motor home from there, arriving here
about a week after the other, mem'

Chaplain C. R. Pond officiated at
a double ring ceremony which united
Mlsa Kathleen Bundy and Richard
W. Pry Saturday afternoon at 3
o'clock at Chaplain Pond'a home on
South Newtown street. Cspt. and
Mrs. Chauncey L. Pierce attended
the couple.
The Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin
was Dlayed by Mra. Pond aa the
bride and bridegroom took their places
at an Improvised altar of chrysanthe
mums and potted plant. Alter

will be at home to friends at the
Lamport apartments.

from a two weeks' vacation trip to

at Hotel Medford
Plans for a district dance at the
Hotel Medford Saturday evening.
December 11, have been announced
by the Officers club of the Medford
CCO district.
The dsnce will honor visitors here
for the Reserve Officers' contact
camp December 11 and 12. All offi
cers of the regular army, national
guard and reserve corps as well aa
retired officers of the army, navy
and marine corps are Invited, within
the CCC district, all army and tech
nical agency personnel have been In
vited, and Invitations will be sent
to a number of civilian friends.

to make their home In the south
and returned here recently to remain

Thanksgiving at
M. E. Parsonage
Mr. and Mra. L. P. Stubblefleld,
formerly of Medford and now of
Aahland, announce the marriage of
their daughter, Miss Mary Stubble-
field to Harold Helder of Klamath
Falls. The wedding waa held at the
First Methodist Episcopal parsonage
of Medford at noon of Thanksgiving
day with the Rev. Joseph Knotts per
forming the ceremony, only Imme
diate members of the families and
close Irlenda were present.
The bride wore a navy blue travel
lng suit with blue accessories and
a corsage of gardenas.
A wedding dinner was given by the
bride's mother and aunt, Mrs. O. R
Moffet at the home of the latter In
Medford after the ceremony. Later
the couple left for Lehman Springs,
winter resort In the Blue Moun
talna near Pendleton.
They will make their home In Kla
math Falla upon their return.
The bride formerly attended Med
ford high school and was graduated
from Ashland high school last year
and has a large number of friends In
the valley.
Mr. Heider graduated from the
Klamath Fails high school and at
tended the University of Oregon.
