The selection of accessories to com
plete the costume is the subject of
a demonstration to be given for Home
Extension tinits this week, according
to Mabel C. Mack, county home dem
onstration agent. Being "well dressed"
depends much upon the choice of
accessories. Accessories are worn to
enhance the costume and to bring
out Its best points. A well dressed
woman commands attention without
being conspicuous. In the selection
of th outfit care should be used that I
one article does not overshadow the
rest and thus detract from the whole.
All homemakers are Invited to attend
this demonstration on accessories. All
meetings are held from 10:00 a. m. to
3:30 p. m.

the eating habits of the average city
dweller have undergone a consider
able change. Fruits, vegetables and
cereal products that once did not
figure In the family food budget are
now staples. These changes are due
chiefly to a better understanding of
the elements of nutrition and dis
covery of vitamins.
While nutritional authorities place

In respect to balanced food values,
milk consumption has not Increased
