the Goodness of the Mince Pies served at
our fountains. Occasionally we are asked for
our recipe.
Frankly our recipe hasn't much to do with
the goodness of the pies. It's just a case of
using good mince meat. You .can have the same
good pies if you will but use the same kind of
mince meat.
There is a large range of quality in mince
meats. Some can be bought for less than the
cost of any good ingredient used in the mak
ing while other grades range in price up to
where you are paying a fanoy prioe for the
name of the maker.
We tested more than 30 different mince
meats and finally selected a good old fashioned
Mew England brand which we believe to be
the best value.
It's the kind we use in our own pies. It
