William Jarvl passed away Wednes
day at his home here, after an Illness
of two months.
The deceased was born June 14.

Marv ouis. and thev came to Ash-
lsnd from Indiana In 1883. Ever alnoe
coming to this section of the coun
try. Mr. Jarvls had been a school
teacher, and waa one of the oldeat
In the county. He taught at Nell
Creek and In Sams Valley. During
the nnranlcatlon of the Bellvlew dis
trict, Mr. Jsrvls was ons of Its most
loyal promotera and helped to build
the district. He was preceded in
death by his wife In October, 1928.
Mr. Jarvls la survived by one son.
