How Shall We Season Our Sausage?
SOME SAY MILD SOME SAY MORE SAGE
WE are between two fires on this sausage business. Some want
it highly seasoned with plenty of sage like it is made on the
farm while others prefer a milder seasoning.
Tomorrow we hope to settle this argument. At the 4-H
Club Sale we bought eight of the prize hogs. You will get sausage made
from this finest quality pork. Some will be seasoned exactly as we sea
soned it years ago on an Indiana farm. Some will be seasoned exactly
as we have seasoned it for the past foui years.
What we would like to know is: How shall we season our sausage?
8hall we give you the farm sage seasoning or mild as heretofore. May.
be we should have both. At any rate here are both kinds, made of as
fine pork as money can buy.

4-H Club Grand Champion Steer
. The beef from theBe Steers cannot be sold until they are held in the ageing
cooler long enough to lose their acidity through the necessary chemical changes.
If tests show these changes to have taken place we will put this beef on sale
Oct. 10th, otherwise later.
It must, however be just right before being put on sale.
The grand champion, raised by Clayton Charley of Lake Creek and another
prize winner raised by Merton Bradshaw of Lake Creek are now in our big cooler.
Thero will be no advance in prices.
