They said It couldn't be done (re

yesterday to a full house at the Cra

"they" didn't know what they were
talking about. For. In "Thin Ice"
the entertainment qualities that made
the first Sonja Henie picture such
an outstanding success have been
elaborated upon and built up to $
point where they make "on in

"Thin Ice" aomethlng to remember.
For one thing, blonde Miss Heme
has been learning lot about act

language. And. further, this time
she not only skates In th distinc

would put a lesser mistress of steel
runners on her mettle. In between
these and the purely narrative se

But, in speaking of the entertain

PIERRE, S. D. (AP) A movement
to construct a new marker on the
grave of Sitting Bull at Fort Yates,
N. D., again has revived the ques
tion of whether the Sioux warrior
was a chief or a medicine man. Au
thorities have differed on hla cor
rect title for years.
Lawrence K. Fox. auperlntendent of
the state historical department,
maintains the tribal leader was a
medicine man but was called chief
"for the want of a better title."
Stanley Vestal In his book, "Sitting
Bull," wrote: "There are several men
still living who saw him Inaugurated
as head of the non-agency Sioux,"
and Charles H. L. Johnston called
him an Unkpapa chief. However, the
band which sitting Bull led waa more
commonly known as the Hunkpapas.
Fox says Sitting Bulls' grave has
been marked several times but the
markers have been destroyed by sou
venir seekers or vandals.
