are directed In an order alined ya
terday by Circuit Judge H. D. Norton
to appear in circuit court Wednesday,
September 8, for the purpose of tak
ing depositions in the suit of the
Acme Brewery company of California,
and 10 other mid-west and Pacific
coast breweries against the Interna
tional Teamsters union and Its af
filiate for Jackson and Josephine
counties. The above-named are also
defendants, with other local members

The Acme Brewery and other brew
eries. In the suit filed 10 days ago.
seek $165,000 damages and a re
straining order prohibiting' the
Teamsters union from refusing to
make d'elivery of the defendants'
beer, alleging a "conspiracy" exist
to "boycott" their product. As a re
milt only the products of Oregon and
Washington breweries are available
here.
The complaint seta forth the Aome
and associate breweries have no dis
putes with union labor, but the dif
flculy U a question of Jurisdiction
between the Brewera Union and the
Teamsters Union.
